Death Chest Mod

Option to make death chests only spawn on solid blocks.

Death chest mod. This mod is completely server side it can be installed on the client for use on singleplayer worlds but clients without this mod can connect to servers with this mod. Vanilla death chest mod 1 16 2 1 15 2 places chests where players die containing all of their items. Vanilla death chest is a mod on minecraft 1 15 2 1 14 4 1 12 2 which permits the participant to not lose his personal stuff after loss of life. In comparison with other similar mods this mod is somewhat simpler than others but it has some excellent features.

Within the chest will be stashed as much of what you were carrying upon death as can possibly fit into the space. Death chest is a mod which alleviates this issue so long as the player is carrying an empty chest in his or her inventory upon death. First of all it is worth noting that the mod may work for the server. I was developing this feature for a different mod i was working on but i figured some people may want it as a standalone mod too.

In comparison with different comparable mods this mod is barely simpler than others however has some wonderful options. This is disabled by default because i think it is more interesting if death chests can. With death chest when you die your carried chest will be placed on the nearest solid block. When you die your carried chest will be placed down nearby a solid block the chest will stay stashed as much you carried it before to die.

Vanilla death chest 1 15 2 1 14 4 1 13 2 is a mod that will focus on preventing players who die during a game from losing the items they had in their inventory before death. Death chest mod is perfect to keep your items even if you die but to get the abilities of this mod you must carry all the time an empty chest in your inventory until you die. This mod is similar to the one developed by risugami however it requires no base class edits and a death chest can be created without needing to have a chest in your inventory. The mod has additional parameters that you can change in the settings for example change the type of chest or the text of the inscription in the chat.

The death chest location radius is configurable and is 8 blocks by default. Xhawk87 s death chests is a function pack for minecraft. It takes the gravestone from openblocks and replaces it with a vanilla chest. By default if a death chest location is not found within the configured radius a death chest is forcibly placed anyway.

When a player dies their items are funneled into a double chest at their feet instead of scattering out over nearby terrain. To avoid exploits neither the chest nor hopper are droppable if destroyed.
